This is my music carnavalsband from The Netherlands.
It's a group off 19 people that play's in this band.
I play the Bas see photo on the right.
We play canvals music and it's like a Brasil carnaval.
Our carnval start on the end off Februari, for 5 day's long.
Play in bars and on podiums outside, and we also play for old peoples homes for the elderly.
We also play for handicapped people.
This band play the whole year on different locations.
The band is 23 years old and its from a small village called Bavel nearby the city of Breda.
I play in this band now for 2 years.
It's fun to play in this band they have some very nice people in it and lot of good music.

On this Photo left you see me playing in the dark.
I have a small lamp with a headband on so we can see
our music while we walk.
It was very cold to play in Belguim but its was alot fun.
The temperature was -5C or 23F.
There were around 30 groups of music players there.
It was a local festival.
On that night there were around 8.000 people on the street
to see this walking crowd.

This photo on the right is from St Nicholas.
St Nicholas is here on the 5th of december.
You have there Santa Clause.
Here is St Nicholas riding on a horse with his helpers the Black Piet's.
The childeren love this feast because they get candy from the Black Piet.
So when St Nicholas arrive's on a boat with his Black Piet's there is always a band playing St Nicholas music on this boat.
This time it was our band who had the honor see picture on the right our band completely dressed up like Black Piet's.
On that day there were about 30.000 childeren waithing for St Nicholas and his Black Piet's to arrive with his boat.
It gives me and the band a good feeling to play for so many childeren and parents and see them having so much fun.
